Directions

The  National Gallery of Zimbabwe  is located 20 Julius Nyerere Way, Park Ln, Harare  , just steps right from Harare  Gardens garden and 2 minutes from Monomutapa Hotel.

By Public Transportation

From the Central Business District (CBD) , take a kombi to Samora Machel Avenue, alight at Julius Nyerere Way, and walk to the gallery at the corner of Park Lane.

From Mbare, take a kombi to the CBD, alight at Market Square Bus Terminal, and either walk or take another kombi to Samora Machel Avenue and Julius Nyerere Way.

From Avondale, take a kombi to the CBD, alight at Copacabana Bus Terminal, and walk along Julius Nyerere Way to Park Lane.

From Borrowdale, take a kombi to the CBD, alight at Fourth Street Bus Terminal, and walk towards Samora Machel Avenue and Julius Nyerere Way to reach the gallery.

The gallery's central location ensures easy access from all these points.

Student Guide Tours

Through the exhibitions, learn about the inspiration and power of the visual arts through
tours. With bookings, take one of the many excursions led by knowledgeable tour guides
throughout the day, from 9:00 am to 16:30 pm, to discover the collection's highlights.
Students have the opportunity to examine and absorb knowledge from exhibited artwork
during sessions. Visits to galleries are in line with the Zimbabwean curriculum, which
